Real prices for the tools in your drawer, shed and truck.

Most work has a fixed starting price. Larger sizes, serrations, broken tips, double-sided blades and major reshaping take more time, so we quote those honestly after we see the tool.

Kitchen knives are priced by blade length.

Measure the cutting edge, not the handle. A small paring knife starts at $6; the chef’s knives most people bring are usually $8 or $10. Serrations add $1. Nicks and tip repair add $2. A blade that needs to be reshaped adds $4.

A dull knife often still has plenty of life in it. Restoring the bevel costs less than replacing a good knife, keeps the tool familiar in your hand, and avoids throwing away steel that can still do years of work.

The same straightforward list Erik keeps at the market.

Three ways to get a sharp edge back.

Schedules move with markets and mobile appointments. Call or text before making a special trip, and Erik will tell you where to meet him.

At the farmers market

Bring knives wrapped safely in a towel or box. Leave them with us, keep shopping, and check back when Erik gives you a pickup time. Arriving early helps on crowded market days.

At our Arvada base

We sharpen from 5648 W 63rd Pl in Arvada by arrangement. Call first so we can make sure someone is ready to receive the tools.

At your home or business

Mobile sharpening is available around the Denver area. Tell us what you have and roughly how many pieces so we can plan the visit and bring the right setup.

“My kitchen knife set Globals and others … were all restored to their original sharpness or better! I sent in two scissors too.”
